Final

  1. Hi Natalie. Judging from your last line up of photos, the story surrounding this child has been expanded on since the last line up. There is not too much repetition and there is unity being shown with other people in the photos. I think the photos where the kid is playing the flute, and reading a book with the hazy light and with the controller showed the most personality in terms of body language and facial expression. I also have to mention the one with the red toy, I like this one. I see facial expressions and body language although it looks like the other person on the couch isn't being very receptive to what the boy is saying. I think this photo conveys the most emotion out of the rest. The child skateboarding makes me feel light and fun and the picture of the child looking out the window makes me feel curious. Overall all the photos convey different emotions in different ways which is interesting and good.

  2. My final project was about the life of this little boy, and what he does in his day. The repetition that could be fixed is him having on the same outfit in each photo. The unity in the sequence of photos comes from having the same subject in each of them being the only subject. I think i could have done a better job on the visual unity. The visual variety comes from different environments he is in. The mood i get from these photos are adventurous and concentration. I think other can relate because they also have younger siblings with a big age gap. The project could of been improved by getting more spontaneous moments and capturing his true essence. I think these could have been sequenced better but the first one is good because it introduces what his name is. I dont think this could be applied to another situation because it is about his life, nobody elses.
